Meet Ruchi Grover, D.D.S.
Dr. Ruchi Grover received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University’s College of Dentistry in 2010. Before going to dental school she also earned an M.S. in neuroscience at the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
Ruchi has had excellent experiences in general dentistry and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. She has a warm personality and a gentle touch, provides all aspects of preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and is current in the latest technologies. She is dedicated to professional growth and pursues continuing education to keep on the leading edge.
Dr. Grover is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She is also an active Army reservist and is married with two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Sharon graduated with an associates degree in dental hygiene from Springfield Technical Community College in 1978. She has been working in that field ever since and has been with Gentle Dentistry for 20 years.
When she talks about being a dental hygienist, she say, “My patients have always been my number one priority. Throughout my career they have become my friends and extended family. I have learned a lot and been privileged to hear amazing and interesting stories about their lives.”
Sharon feels one of her greatest accomplishments was working with a patient who was apprehensive. “I had a patient who was scared to death about coming to the dentist. I was able to calm him down, get his work done, and then schedule him to come back. I never judge, I only have empathy and give them support so they can embrace being at our office. Knowing I can give them the tools and motivation to keep their mouth healthy, and seeing their beautiful smiles is extremely gratifying—that’s why I love what I do.”
Her “guilty pleasures” are being on Cape Cod, working out doing Zumba, being with friends and family. She is married with three married sons and seven amazing grandchildren who are her greatest treasures.
Debbie has been working as a certified dental assistant for over 30 years. She received her professional training from Greenfield Community College and Springfield Technical Community College. Debbie enjoys every aspect of dentistry, from working as a team with her colleagues, to helping patients achieve proper oral care, to creating a warm, inviting and safe atmosphere for our patients.
When she is not in the office, you can find her “tending to my gardens, tackling do-it-yourself projects, visiting Cape Cod with my husband, spending time with my two daughters, two granddaughters, and German shepherd, who is always ready for the game of fetch!
“When I have a dental appointment with Dr. Grover I actually look forward to it. Going to the dentist is supposed to be scary and stressful, but I find everything about my visits to be pleasant and nurturing. The staff is extremely friendly. The waiting room feels homey. I barely have time to look at all of the great magazines before one of the hygienists comes to get me.”
